The two largest artefacts were once ceremonial pieces, worn together for momentous events and ceremonies, distinguishing them from others in their community as of higher standing. The pieces we see today are not what they looked like in their prime. Surrounding evidence suggests the relics themselves were once sentient organisms connected to Hades and Persephone’s magic, what has lasted are the skeletal remains you see here.

Hades’ Breastplate features a cattle bone embellished with emblems associated with his powers of alchemy and fabricating precious stones, the warm masculine colour palette aged with the patina of time.

Persephone’s neckpiece is covered in organic iridescent pearls, soft stones of purity and faith reflecting her power in fertility and connection with the(ir) earth.
